Job Description:
STI Taxand is expanding its tax practice and seeking a Direct Tax Associate to join our Nicosia-based team. Our practice spans in all areas of direct and indirect tax, including Transfer Pricing, corporate and international tax, energy tax, M&A tax, VAT, and employment taxes. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Conduct research on direct tax laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Assist on the preparation of legal opinion on tax-related matters, providing guidance and risk assessment.
- Liaising with clients and authorities on direct tax-related issues.
- Collaborating with other team members on direct tax matters.
Your Profile:
- University graduate in Law.
- Bar Exam (Fully qualified).
- Proficiency in both Greek and English (both spoken and written).
- Proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.

Job Description:
STI Taxand is expanding its tax practice and seeking a KYC Administrator to join our Nicosia-based team. Our practice spans in all areas of direct and indirect tax, including Transfer Pricing, corporate and international tax, energy tax, M&A tax, VAT, and employment taxes. The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing KYC/CDD reviews for new and existing clients of all AML classification risks (Low-Medium-High),
- Establishing clients’ economic profile and ML/FT risk assessments.
- Conduct PEP’s & Sanction screening,
- Review KYC files and ensure proper record keeping/updating internal compliance records,
- Support the client facing personnel in any matters related to AML /KYC/CDD internal policies, procedures, and controls,
- Conduct investigations, obtain necessary information, and prepare analytical reports and escalate findings.
Your Profile:
- BSc Degree in Business / Finance / Economics / Law or any other related degree,
- Experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage,
- Cysec AML certificate or equivalent will be considered an advantage,
- Proficiency in both Greek and English (both spoken and written),

The primary responsibilities of this role include:
- Prepare comprehensive transfer pricing documentation, in accordance with the relevant tax laws and regulations.
- Identify and assess local and cross-border intragroup transactions, by analysing key information from the clients.
- Conduct functional analysis interviews with clients.
- Conduct economic analysis and benchmarking studies using reputable databases (e.g. Bloomberg),
- Ability to work effectively under pressure,
- Maintain active and clear communication with clients, managing the client engagement processes from initial contact through report completion and invoice issuance,
- Interpret financial statements,
- Keep up to date with changes in transfer pricing regulations and advise clients accordingly.
