STI Taxand and GSS successfully complete the “AI Tax & Legal Agent” innovation project
We are pleased to announce the successful completion of AITLA – AI Tax & Legal Agent, a project funded by the Research and Innovation Foundation (RIF) under the “Innovation Vouchers” programme (INNOVOUCHERS/0725).
The Innovation Vouchers scheme supports small and medium enterprises in adopting research and innovation by partnering with knowledge-intensive organisations to develop practical, innovative solutions to real business challenges.
For this project, STI Taxand Cyprus Ltd teamed up with AC Goldman Solutions & Services Ltd (GSS) as the technology and knowledge partner to design and build an AI-driven tax and legal assistant tailored to Cyprus law.
The solution combines a curated knowledge base of Cyprus legislation, circulars and guidelines with a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) AI pipeline. It lets advisory teams ask questions in plain language and receive transparent, source-cited answers, while automatically producing structured, business-ready reports summarising findings, risks and obligations for each client case.
The result is faster document analysis, more consistent and traceable outputs, and more time for Taxand’s experts to focus on high-value advisory work — without compromising the firm’s standards of quality and compliance.
