STI Taxand Appoints Antonis Loyides as Partner in the Direct Tax Department/Pillar Two

STI Taxand is delighted to announce the appointment of Antonis Loyides as Partner in the Direct Tax Department, with a primary focus on Pillar Two. 

Antonis brings extensive experience in IFRS and financial reporting, having advised a wide range of multinational groups on complex accounting, regulatory, and compliance matters. His strong technical background, combined with deep insight into group reporting structures and data flows, positions him ideally to support clients in navigating the challenges of Pillar Two implementation. 

Antonis’ appointment further strengthens STI Taxand’s capabilities in addressing the growing intersection between accounting, tax, and global minimum tax compliance, reinforcing our commitment to delivering integrated and forward-looking solutions to our clients. 

Prior to joining STI Taxand, Antonis spent many years with PwC and Grant Thornton, where he served as Partner and Head of Quality.  

A Fellow Chartered Accountant of the ICAEW and a member of ICPAC, Antonis holds a degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Sheffield. His commitment to technical excellence is further demonstrated by his ten-year tenure on ICPAC’s Accounting Standards Committee and his current role on the Disciplinary Committee of the Cyprus Public Audit Oversight Board. Furthermore, he has spent many years lecturing for advanced-level ICAEW and ACCA examinations and delivering academic courses at the University of Cyprus.
